The Rhythmyx Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solution has been selected by the University of London for its distance learning 'External Programme'.
Percussion Software, a provider of software solutions and IT, said that its Rhythmyx ECM solution will be used to manage the university's Centre for Distance Education (CDE) website. The 5,000-page website is used by academics, teaching staff and administrators to gain access to learning resources, events, profiles and news items.

The External Programme, available to 34,000 distance learning students in more than 180 countries, offers over 100 Diploma, Bachelors and Masters programmes and aims to provide study programmes in print in addition to the online learning resources. According to Percussion, Rhythmyx's management of web content, documents, digital assets, portal content and scanned images will enable the university to track and streamline content authorisation processes through audit trails and workflow capabilities.
