Kijiji, eBay's (Nasdaq:EBAY) international classifieds group, has announced that it has acquired Gumtree.com, a classifieds web site based in London, UK.

The acquisition will serve to expand Kijiji's network of web sites and enables Gumtree to further scale its business with the resources of Kijiji and eBay.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
