FalconStor Software Inc (Nasdaq: FALC), a developer of data protection solutions, announced on Wednesday (5 April) that it has entered into an OEM (original equipment manufacturer) agreement with JMR Electronics, a global supplier of storage systems.
JMR Electronics is to produce storage arrays that integrate FalconStor's iSCSI Storage Server for Windows product suite with JMR Electronics' new PCI-based SATA RAID storage enclosure technologies, which will support up to 2,000 drives.

According to the company, using FalconStor's iSCSI Storage Server for Windows will enable JMR Electronics to meet its goal of creating very large storage arrays that can start small but will easily scale to hundreds of terabytes.
