Chinese book to be published first online

Chinese based publisher Writers Publishing House has announced that it has, for the first time in China, published a book online prior to publishing it on paper.

The e-book by Zhu Xingchen, entitled Not Angel, Not Devil, will be published on paper 90 days after the release of the e-book. According to the Xinhua News Agency, the electronic version will sell for CNY6 and the paper version will be sold for CNY19.

Technical support for the book's publishing was provided by Beijing Founder Electronics Co Ltd.
