The Swedish consulting group AB Angpanneforeningen (AF Group) said on Tuesday (20 June) that its unit AF-Benima has received a contract to deliver a new supervisory IT system for China Steel Corporation's coil storage yard in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

The contract involves replacing the storage yard's current system with new hardware for a Microsoft Windows platform and .NET technology.

The value of the contract was not disclosed, but AF Group said that its scope was some 6,000 engineering hours.
