Avanquest Software, a developer and publisher of business and consumer software, has announced its OEM partnership with notebook PC vendor Acorn Computers.

According to the company, Avanquest UK will be providing some of its software titles with each Acorn PC shipped in the UK, including Sun Microsystems StarOffice 8; Zone Alarm Internet Security Suite; VCOM Autosave; VCOM Fix-It Utilities; as well as custom version of Netviewer One2One entitled 'Acorn Remote Support Tool'.

In addition, Avanquest offers a dedicated software store http://shop.avanquest.com/acorn that will be featured on the desktop of each Acorn PC.

No financial or pricing details were disclosed.
