TELECOMWORLDWIRE-2 August 2007-Mobistar implements two new MATERNA MMS services(C)1994-2007 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com

The MMS Composer and MMS2Email applications from MATERNA, a software provider for information and communication technologies, have been implemented by Mobistar, a Belgian network operator.

The MMS Composer application provides a web-based tool for creating and sending multimedia messages to mobile phones and will enable Mobistar customers to compose individual MMS messages, with a picture, a sound or a video and a text. Users can access a portfolio of content models from MATERNA as well as content stored on their own computer, and can send each composed MMS to a list of up to three Belgian mobile phone numbers simultaneously.

MATERNA has also provided the MMS2Email application which incorporates the elements of MMS message into HTML-Email format and transforms them into a PC-supported format. The text and pictures appear in the e-mail directly, while multimedia elements are available through a separate link.
