Internet company Yahoo! Inc (Nasdaq:YHOO) today (12 February) announced the launch of the company's mobile display advertising platform on its Yahoo! Mobile Web service (m.yahoo.com).
The service, which enables advertisers to reach consumers on their mobile phones, is available in 19 countries across Europe, Asia and the Americas.
Yahoo! said that Hilton's Embassy Suites, Infiniti, Intel, Nissan, Pepsi, Procter & Gamble Asia Pacific and Singapore Airlines will launch the inaugural mobile advertising campaigns on this new platform, starting today.

The advertisements will run near the top of the Yahoo! Mobile Web home page. Consumers can click on these interactive ads to directly call the advertiser or to learn more information about the advertiser's offer.
