Swedish telecomms operator Tele2 AB said on Friday (11 May) that its subsidiary Tele2 Norway has signed a four-year MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) agreement with NetCom, owned by the Finnish-Swedish operator TeliaSonera AB, on access to its mobile network.

Tele2 said that the agreement includes an option for national roaming which enables Tele2 to build own infrastructure in the future.

Tele2 currently has an MVNO agreement with the Norwegian operator Telenor which ends 31 March 2008.

The new agreement with NetCom will enable Tele2 to strengthen its mobile telephony offering in Norway, according to the company.
