Atos Origin implements BSCS iX Release 2 for Vipnet Croatia

Atos Origin, an IT services provider, and LHS, a provider of telecomms billing and customer care systems, announced on Monday (22 October) that Vipnet Croatia, a mobile network operator in Croatia and a subsidiary of the mobilkom austria group, has migrated to BSCS iX Release 2.

According to the company, BSCS iX Release 2 is a convergent end-to-end system that enables efficient customer management and real-time billing for voice, data, content, and other Internet services. The system contains iX Rating, iX Billing, and web-based applications for customer self-care and partner management, based on LHS' iX architecture.

The solution is expected to enable Vipnet to bundle various products and offer them at promotional tariffs, while a new web-based client will help the company to efficiently manage content catalogs and to quickly adjust the pricing and promotions structure accordingly.

Atos Origin, a global Platinum Partner of LHS, was in charge of the implementation of the upgrade at Vipnet with support from the customer and LHS experts. No financial details were disclosed.
