WebEx Training Center provides an open-service platform which enables partners and solution provides in the training market, content management and self-paced training markets, to integrate with the service.

According to Cisco, WebEx Training Center is delivered over the WebEx MediaTone platform and enables organisations to extend the value and reach of their training programmes. It provides features intended to meet the needs of training organisations, including real-time application sharing, virtual hands-on labs, breakout sessions, automated assessment and e-commerce capabilities.

The company said the features enable training organisations to give learners improved access to knowledge and expertise, maximise the value of training resources and create new business opportunities for training offerings.

WebEx Training Centre enables the US government's Assistive Technology Training Program (ATTP) educators to work online with injured soldiers to help them obtain the skills and tools needed to become Microsoft and Network+ certified technicians and participate in advanced training taught across the US.
