Telecomworldwire,  April 18, 2008

TELECOMWORLDWIRE-18 April 2008-AT&T announces completion of wireless assets divestitures from Dobson to MTPCS(C)1994-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com

The completion of divestitures of wireless assets from the former Dobson Communications Corporation to MTPCS LLC, has been announced by US communications holding company AT&T Inc (NYSE:T).

AT&T said affiliates of MTPCS have acquired, from affiliates of AT&T, the former Dobson properties, including licences, network assets and subscribers, in Texas Rural Service Area (RSA) 10 and Oklahoma RSA 5, under the terms of the 3 December 2007 agreements.

According to AT&T, the Oklahoma RSA 5 property incorporates AT&T's share of the former Dobson partnership which held the RSA's cellular licence, network assets and subscribers.

AT&T confirmed that the transactions satisfy, in part, its divestiture requirements relating to its recent Dobson acquisition.
