Momail, a free e-mail service for mobile devices, has launched in Austria, Germany and Italy.

According to the company, Momail is easy to start and to use, as there is no need for client software or downloads. The solution features MMOPE-technology, which optimises all e-mails, including attachments, per mobile model saving up to 99,9% of the data sent to the mobile device. In addition it features mobile spam and virus protection.

New users can now register via Internet or mobile at http://www.momail.at, http://www.momail.de or http://www.momail.it.

The service is is free of charge and works on all mobiles with built-in e-mail support. It is available in the UK, in all Nordic countries, Austria, Italy, Germany and Poland. The company also plans to add more countries in 2008, beginning with the BeNeLux countries.
