Open Text Corporation (NASDAQ: OTEX)(TSX: OTC), an independent provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) software, has announced that Taylor Woodrow, a UK provider of construction and facilities management services, has opted to implement its Livelink ECM Electronic Document and Records Management (EDRMS) solution.

According to the company, Taylor Woodrow required a new application architecture and selected Causeway's ECM solution, which is powered by Open Text's Livelink ECM. Causeway, a solutions provider to the construction industry, was already a supplier for the company.

The company reportedly plans to use Causeway ECM (Livelink) as its core business management system, which will encompass the functional areas of corporate document and e-mail management. The solution will be initially implemented across a user community of 1,000, but it is planned to develop into the core solution behind the company's intranet, promoting knowledge management and collaborative working.

No financial details were disclosed.
