Xirrus, a specialist in high performance Wi-Fi designs, announced on Monday (25 August) that its partner eLinear Solutions Middle East FZ LLC, a provider of Intelligent Information Networks, has delivered a Wi-Fi network at Al Rawda Rotana Suites, a hotel in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The company said that the Xirrus Wi-Fi Arrays were deployed because they were the only Wi-Fi devices that could cover the large areas, support the large user population and accommodate the high bandwidth applications used around the property.

Due to the thick concrete walls and sound proofed doors at the hotel, traditional Wi-Fi architectures would have required too much additional hardware and cabling, as well access to all rooms to install equipment, the company said.

No financial details were disclosed.
