Epson launches EX100 projector

Epson America Inc, a provider of image capture and image output products for the consumer, business, photography and graphic arts markets and the US affiliate of Japan-based Seiko Epson Corporation, has launched the Epson EX100 projector.

The projector, which is designed for business and mobile professionals, is a 3.5lb multimedia projector with 2,700 lumens of white and colour light output, XGA resolution and Epson's 3-Chip 3LCD technology.

The EX100 is HD-Ready, has password protection, plus a Kensington lock bar to guard against theft. It has a Presenter Mode, which allows users to project a PowerPoint slide on the screen in 'slideshow' mode, while simultaneously viewing presentation notes and operating buttons on the monitor.

The estimated retail price of the Epson EX100 projector is USD999 and it is now available through national retailers in the US, including OfficeMax.
