TT&T Public Company Limited, a company providing Internet services in Thailand, is deploying a WiMAX network provided by Cisco (NASDAQ:CSCO), a worldwide networking company, at Mae Fah Luang University.
According to Cisco, the rollout, which will be completed in September, will be the first production WiMAX network in Thailand.
The Cisco Mobile WiMAX suite of solutions will be deployed by TT&T at the university, which is located the Chiang Rai province in northern Thailand.
