AT&T Inc (NYSE:T), a communications holding company, has reported the certification and availability on its wireless smartphones of mobile student interactive response technology.

The Internet-based, real-time polling solution can be enabled on AT&T powered devices such as iPhones, BlackBerrys and other smartphones.

The solution allows educators to track demographic information, rank responses against criteria for decision making and analyse comparative results that can facilitate pre and post assessment.

ResponseWare Web software powers the application, which has been certified to be used on AT&T's 3G and EDGE wireless data networks and will be available on Windows-enabled smartphones, BlackBerry handsets, iPhones and laptops.

Pricing details have not been announced for the solution, which is available through the Internet or at campus bookshops through a subscription service activated by students of institutions on mobile devices.
