ECI Telecom, a provider of networking infrastructure solutions, has announced that its XDM Multi-Service Provisioning Platform (MSSP) will be used by RadiogrAfrica Costarricense SA (RACSA), a telecom provider for data, Ethernet and Internet services in Costa Rica, to expand its network.
The company provides a platform combining SDH, Ethernet switching and wavelength-division multiplexing (WDM), managed by ECI's LightSoft multi-layer network management system.

RACSA has recently started a major expansion project in order to provide customers with more data services and video and voice services. ECI was chosen to provide transport offerings to support existing and future networks.
Financial details of the deal have not be announced.
