i-Rights, part of the UK independent distributor Digital Rights Group and The Nightingale Company, a Canadian production company, have signed a deal that will gain i-Rights the right to distribute a new 48 part on-line series and Alternate Reality Game worldwide.

The Do You Believe Me? series and game encourages its target audience of teenagers to follow the adventures of main character Maya, a 17 year old girl, who through recurring nightmares becomes convinced that she and her family are in grave danger.

Viewers can engage in the game on-line through email, mobile, SMS and blogs to help find answers. The series is a co-venture between The Nightingale Company and beActive, the Portuguese company behind Sophia's Diary. Nuno Bernardo of beActive is reportedly quoted to have said that Do You Believe Me? is an interactive experience based on the concepts of social networking, participation and creative contribution.
