Cadis, a provider of enterprise data management (EDM) systems for buy-side institutions, announced on 30 November that Aberdeen Asset Management (Aberdeen) has successfully implemented the Cadis EDM Suite.
The company said that the implementation manages and enriches the complex data required to feed order management, compliance, accounting and risk systems in a consistent, fully audited environment and that Cadis was selected by Aberdeen due to the solution's ability to provide a data control layer between it and its market data vendors and outsourced back office providers.

The Cadis EDM Suite and the Cadis rapid implementation methodology allows Aberdeen to quickly integrate multiple data sources and utilise the information in their front office systems, according to Cadis.
No financial details of the contract were disclosed.
