Pegasystems (NASDAQ: PEGA), a company that provides Business Process Management solutions, declared yesterday (16 December) that Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana (BCBSMT) has selected the company's Customer Process Manager for Healthcare to make its customer service, sales and processing more efficient.A A The Pegasystems solution will streamline customer telephone inquiries and is expected to result in more customer inquiries being resolved in the first call.

The new technology will be implemented by BCBSMT in early 2009.

The provider network of BCBSMT consists of partnerships with more than 1,900 licensed Montana physicians, all 60 acute general hospitals in Montana and 2,653 allied healthcare professionals.
