Bell Canada, a communications company, has established an agreement with the National Basketball Association (NBA) to deliver daily NBA video highlights and other personalised content via the Sympatico/MSN web portal and Bell Mobility mobile phones.
Bell said the non-exclusive partnership represents the first time its customers in Canada will be able to view such content via broadband and mobile phones. The relationship also reportedly marks the first such digital content agreement the NBA has established with a Canadian company.

According to Bell, NBA fans can access the Sympatico/MSN portal via http://www.sports.sympatico.msn.ca for daily video highlights of NBA games during the season and weekly video of the top ten plays. The company confirmed Bell Mobility clients will also be able to access video highlights of post-season games and NBA team, league and player wallpaper and receive NBA news text alerts.
NBA claimed the partnership with Bell will enable fans across Canada to connect with their favourite teams and players on their computer or mobile device, expanding access to NBA action across digital platforms.
