Nortel Government Solutions, a services provider and US company wholly owned by communications solutions provider Nortel (NYSE:NT) (TSX:NT), has been selected to provide cyber security infrastructure support services to the US Senate Office of the Sergeant at Arms under contract award 2007-C-012.

Nortel Government Solutions said it offers up to date threat detection and prevention technology and experience in defining and implementing best security practices and quality standards for government agencies.
