The UK Office of National Statistics reported on Friday (18 January) that while Christmas consumer spending was the lowest it has been in 13 years, UK consumers are increasingly turning to the Internet.
The report shows that 66% of UK consumers shopped online over the Christmas period, and GBP1 in every GBP7 was spent via online channels.
