Computer retailer PC World has created its 'Get Connected' initiative, which enables customers to purchase, and be immediately connected with, all their computing, Internet and digital TV needs at PC World stores across the UK.

According to the company, there are three key elements of Get Connected. Free and discounted laptops are available depending on the selected mobile broadband tariff. 15 laptops are available free of charge, while up to GBP450 can be saved on all of PC World's laptop range. Mobile broadband can be bought as a laptop package or as a standalone product and starts from GBP10 per month, provided by Vodafone, T Mobile and 3, while home broadband and digital TV packages are available through Virgin Media, BT and Sky.

'Get Connected' is being rolled out to stores across the UK and is set to form a focal part of PC World stores, with substantial physical presence at point of sale, the company said.

No financial details were disclosed.
