Norwegian Internet browsers developer Opera Software ASA (OSE: OPERA) said on Tuesday (1 July) that ASUSTeK Computer Inc has selected the Opera Mobile 9.5 browser for its upcoming handsets.

The new agreement extends previous cooperation between the parties and means that the Opera Mobile browser will be the default browser in all of ASUSTeK's future Windows Mobile-based devices.

The exact value of the agreement was not disclosed, but Opera Software said that it will receive license, support and development fees.

Opera Software, headquartered in Oslo, Norway, develops the cross-platform Opera web browser for PCs, mobile phones and other networked devices.
