A new interface, Verizon Wi-Fi Connect, is available as part of Verizon Business' Enterprise Mobility services suite that allows mobile Wi-Fi users to locate and access Verizon Wireless hotspots.

The interface scans for available Verizon Wi-Fi hotspots and pops up an icon when one comes within range. Clicking on the icon starts the connection process. The wireless device's preferences and security procedures are not affected, and the interface works with all common wireless LAN software utilities.

Verizon Business has also extended coverage of its Enterprise Mobility services to Latin America.

Verizon Business, a unit of Verizon Communications (NYSE: VZ), is an IP network operator.
