SofTech Inc (OTCBB:SOFT), which develops, markets, distributes and supports computer software solutions for the product lifecycle management industry, revealed yesterday (15 July) that Fluidigm Corporation of South San Francisco has chosen its ProductCenter PLM solution.

The company's customer support services, ProductCenter's integration to SolidWorks and its customisable web client interface contributed to Fluidigm's selection. It will utilise ProductCenter for management of its SolidWorks product design data; process automation including electronic change notification (ECN) through ProductCenter Workflow; and engineering BOM data management with a link to the corporate ERP system.

Fluidigm develops, manufactures and markets proprietary Integrated Fluidic Circuit (IFC) systems that significantly improve productivity in life science research. Fluidigm's IFCs, consists of instrumentation, software and single-use IFCs.
