Norwegian IT group EDB Business Partner ASA (OSE: EDB) said on Thursday (3 July) that it has, together with the telecomms group Telenor ASA (OSE: TEL), secured a multi-year contract to operate the IT infrastructure of the new university hospital St Olavs in Trondheim, Norway.

The contract, received through Helse Midt-Norge RHF (Central Norway Regional Health Authority) and valid until June 2012, is valued at NOK160m.

The contract covers central IT operations, including IP telephony, alarm systems/signalling of AV traffic and authentication.

EDB Business Partner, headquartered in Oslo, Norway, is one of the largest Nordic IT groups. The group has 6,000 employees in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Ukraine, the UK and India.
