TELECOMWORLDWIRE-3 July 2008-Orlando Health to deploy TECSYS IDN(C)1994-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com

Orlando Health, Florida's not-for-profit healthcare organisation has selected a warehouse and distribution management system (Integrated Deliver Network or IDN) from TECSYS Inc (TSX:TCS), a Canadian supply chain software company.

Orlando Health is an organisation employing some 14,000 people in nine hospitals and care centres in the Greater Orlando area. It has recently adopted a self-distribution model and the implementation of the software is intended to allow them to squeeze costs from their supply chain while at the same time increasing its efficiency.

The software will automate core workflows while providing operations analysis and reporting capabilities once it is fully integrated into Orlando Health's supply chain management. It will help Orlando Health provide just in time deliveries of products and supplies across its operations in the area and will interface with the hospital management and Lawson software financial system allowing full visibility of all operations across all centres reducing data entry requirements and improving accuracy and efficiency.
