German multimedia agency Powerflasher GmbH is offering its support to all universities and colleges with Interactive Design Classes worldwide.
According to the company, Powerflasher is giving away free licences of its development tool for Flash, FDT 3.0 Enterprise, the most extensive and most expensive version, and also the most qualified as teaching material for the respective faculties. The solution turns the open-source platform Eclipse into a powerful and solid development environment for Flash- and ActionScript coding.

By the end of June 2008, the company handed over licences worth over EUR10.000 to the Hochschule Harz, University of Applied Sciences in Germany, while the Hochschule Offenburg, University of Applied Sciences, in Germany, is going to receive licences worth EUR18.000. In addition Harvard University, USA, was handed over licences worth USD38.000, the Art Institutes International Minnesota, USA, received licences worth USD6.000, and and Edgewood College in Wisconsin, USA, got licences worth USD33.000.
More cooperations, including the University of Applied Sciences in Hagenberg, Austria, the Rochester Institute of Technology, USA, and the Michigan State University, USA, are in preparation, the company said.
