CryptoLogic adds new features to Internet poker software

Telecomworldwire,  July 7, 2008

TELECOMWORLDWIRE-7 July 2008-CryptoLogic adds new features to Internet poker software(C)1994-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com

CryptoLogic Ltd (Toronto:CRY.TO) (Toronto:CXY.TO) (NasdaqGS:CRYP) (LSE:CRP.L), a developer and supplier of Internet gaming software, has introduced two features to its Internet poker software line-up: the ability for players to host their own tournaments, and a new sorting and filtering tool.

According to the company, players can host their private games with the new 'Create your own tournament' feature, which simulates the experience of hosting a poker game at home. This community-building feature enables players to choose the games they want to play, at the stakes they want to play for, and at the time that is most convenient for them. When a private game is created, an e-mail invitation is sent to the selected players and only those who receive the invitation can participate in the game.

The new and improved 'sorting and filtering tool' enables players to customize the poker lobby by creating their own settings for cash games and tournaments. Players can choose to display only the games they like to play, based on such features as the game type and speed, choice of stakes and currency, the maximum number of players at the table and preferred start time for tournaments, the company claims.

No financial details were disclosed.
