Clarity International Ltd, an Australian provider of Operating Systems Support (OSS) solutions for telecomms network operators, announced on 8 July that it has secured an extension of its existing contract with Globe Telecom, a network operator in the Philippines, to provide a unified OSS for Globe's wireless business and also for Globe's fixed line subsidiary Innove Communications.

Clarity had already built a Network Operation Centre (NOC) for Globe, complete with the support infrastructure and associated NOC tools, and has been working with Globe to provide inventory management and service assurance.

The Australian firm will now also provide configuration management for Globe's 2G and 3G networks. Also in the agreement is an integrated inventory management, alarm management performance management trouble ticket and SLA management for Innove, a company that has both legacy and next-generation fixed lines for voice, data and IP services.

Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
