TELECOMWORLDWIRE-12 June 2008-Azlan signs distribution agreement with Emerson Network Power(C)1994-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com

On 12 June, Azlan, the enterprise networking business unit of Computer 2000, announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with Emerson Network Power, a provider of power management solutions. Resellers to data centres and business-critical networks will now have access to the full range of the vendor's uninterruptible power supplies and cooling systems.

According to Azlan, the agreement widens the choice available to resellers and meets the increasing need for higher levels of assured availability and protection for vital systems. The company will now be supplying the entire range of Emerson's Liebert uninterruptible power supplies, cooling and enclosure solutions for racks and individual servers and PCs.

The NX series of advanced power management solutions for computer rooms and data centres and the GXT2 series of UPS units, designed specifically for mission-critical applications, are both included in the range of products. Smaller solutions for mid-sized data centres and individual servers, workstations and PCs are also available along with the PowerSure Interactive 2 range of rack and tower protection systems for network, telecom and servers.

No pricing details have been released.
