Unica and Sogec chosen by Unilever France

Unica Corporation (Nasdaq: UNCA), a provider of enterprise marketing management (EMM) solutions, and the Sogec Marketing group, a specialist in Client Relationship Management, have been selected by Unilever France, part of the Unilever Group, a provider of home, personal care and food products, to manage its marketing campaigns.

Unilever France has reportedly turned to Sogec and Unica to optimise its strategic planning and multi-channel CRM programme, 'Pour tout vous dire' (To tell you everything).

According to the company, Sogec brings its data management expertise to the project and hosts Unilever France's consumer databases, which store millions of contacts. This information is cleansed and segmented, and is then ready for use with Unica Affinium Campaign.

Affinium Campaign, combined with Affinium Campaign eMessage, Unica's application for personalised e-mail and SMS campaigns, enables the creation, testing, optimisation, deployment and analysis of Unilever's personalised marketing communications. In addition, it allows the right message to be sent at the right time through the appropriate channel, which results in more customer-focused marketing, the company said.
