Telecomms group Telekom Austria Group (VSE: TKA)(OTC US: TKAGY) announced on Monday (16 June) that its mobile subsidiary, mobilkom austria, has reduced its SMS roaming tariffs for all business, residential and pre-paid B.FREE customers.
According to the company, beginning on Monday (16 June), sending a text message while abroad costs EUR0.25. The SMS roaming tariff applies to the partner networks of 37 countries within and outside the EU, and all current and new customers will be switched automatically to the new offer. In addition, the company offers an SMS roaming package A1 GRENZENLOS SMS 100 at a flat rate of EUR10 for 100 text messages.

The SMS roaming tariff reduction is in line with the company's commitment to offer its customers attractive roaming voice and data tariffs without any regulatory intervention, mobilkom austria said.
