Finnish telecomms solutions provider Nokia (NYSE:NOK) said on Tuesday (17 June) that it has completed its acquisition of Trolltech ASA (OSE: Troll), a Norwegian software provider with world-class software development platforms and frameworks.
In addition to the key software assets, the Trolltech team will play an important role in accelerating the implementation of Nokia's software strategy, the company said.

The acquisition will enable Nokia to accelerate the cross-platform software strategy for mobile devices and desktop applications, and develop our Internet services business, Nokia added.
Oslo Stock Exchange has decided to delist Trolltech ASA. Last day of listing will be 17 June 2008, the company added.
Nokia, headquartered in Espoo in Finland, is a global mobile phone and network equipment manufacturer. It has some 65,324 employees worldwide. Nokia is listed on the Helsinki, Stockholm, Frankfurt and New York stock exchanges.
