Microlog Corporation (Pinksheets:MLOG), a provider of Integrated Voice Response (IVR) and Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) solutions, has been awarded a contract by Redstone Arsenal, an element of the US Army Material Command, to upgrade and expand the patient appointment system at the Fox Army Health Centre in Huntsville, Alabama.

In addition to the upgrade and expansion, the announcement on the 20 June stated that Microlog will also provide its TeleReminder service to deliver follow-up, reminder and messaging services. Microlog will also be adding laboratory and radiological results capabilities to the system in support of a number of health initiatives.

The Fox Army Medical Centre provides health care services, including outpatient care in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Optometry, Physical Therapy, Behavioural Medicine and Preventive Medicine to a population of around 60,000 people in the Tennessee Valley Area, as well as a pharmacy service and limited laboratory and radiology diagnostic services.
