Cisco selected to provide Cisco Unified Communications in Malaysia

Cisco (NasdaqGS:CSCO), a network service provider, announced on Thursday (19 June) that the Johor State Government in Malaysia has selected the company's Unified Communications system that will be deployed by Cisco Gold Certified Partner HP and MysysNet, an information and communications technology (ICT) systems integrator in Johor.

The Unified Communications system, which includes over 1,000 Cisco Unified IP Phones, will deliver the voice, video and data communications needs of state government employees in the Johor State New Administrative Centre (JSNAC) in Nusajaya. Financial details of the contract were not available.
