Hexagon AB (STO:HEXAB) (OTCBB:HEXN), a Swedish measurement technologies company, has acquired all outstanding shares of Messtechnik Wetzlar GmbH (MTWZ), a German software company specialising in material handling metrology solutions.
MTWZ employs 34 people and the announcement said that Hexagon expects MTWZ will contribute SEK20m in annual sales after the consolidation is completed as of 1 July.
MTWZ will continue to operate as a separate business unit, concentrating on continuing to provide general and customised solutions for power train applications.
