Norwegian Internet browsers developer Opera Software ASA (OSE: OPERA) said on Thursday (26 June) that a leading European telecomms operator has selected its Opera Widgets solution for inclusion in a range of handset platforms in multiple countries.
The Widgets solution comprises a complete Widget Ecosystem by Opera Widget Integration SDK, Opera Widget Developer SDK and backend services.

The value of the agreement was not disclosed, but Opera Software said that it covers fees for active user licenses, development, support and maintenance and server hosting, as well as service level agreement fees and revenue sharing.
Opera Software, headquartered in Oslo, Norway, develops the cross-platform Opera web browser for PCs, mobile phones and other networked devices.
