Max Telecom, a telecomms operator based in Bulgaria, has announced that it has launched voice and data services for residential and corporate subscribers over its WiMAX infrastructure using the Comverse MyCall Converged Communications, IPCentrex and business trunking solutions from Comverse, a supplier of software and systems enabling network-based multimedia enhanced communication and billing services.

The company said that the MyCall Converged Communications delivers a complete, pre-integrated, IP-based telephony solution that improves time to market, reduces operational costs and meets high-capacity requirements.

MyCall Converged Communications is reportedly based on a future-proof, IMS architecture and operates on Comverse's Class 5 Application Server. The product can be fully integrated with the complete Comverse portfolio of billing and value-added services solutions.
