Comtech Telecommunications Corp (NasdaqGS:CMTL), a provider of communication solutions, announced on Tuesday (18 March) thatComtech EF Data Corp, a manufacturer of satellite communications products and the company's subsidiary, has received a USD1.2m order from a US government agencyfor satellite communications equipment.

Under the order, which will reportedlysupport the build out of a new satellite communications network, Comtech will supply Comtech EF Data's SLM-5650A Satellite Modem and 1:1 Redundancy Switches.
