The Sterling Total Payments solution has been unveiled by Sterling Commerce (Sterling), a subsidiary of US communications holding company AT&T Inc (NYSE:T), providing a payment processing solution which integrates all payment channels into one view.

Sterling said the solution breaks down operational silos in payments processing in order to allow banks to simplify operations for improved efficiency, increase revenue streams by bringing clients onboard more quickly and limiting risk through the provision of a single view across payment channels.

The company confirmed Sterling Total Payments offers improved business intelligence and analysis of important payment and operational trends for differentiated services to clients. It also provides enhanced visibility for banks and their clients into all payment streams, resulting in improved customer self-service; and boosts compliance through the automation of the enforcement of bank policies and industry regulations across all payment channels.

According to Sterling, the new solution offers payment processing capabilities for domestic and international payments and provides a competitive advantage for banks, with a converged view of the management of lines of business, customers and partners.
