Norwegian Internet browsers developer Opera Software ASA (OSE: OPERA) said on Tuesday (20 May) that it has signed a browser agreement with the the mobile operator O2 (Germany) GmbH & Co OHG.

The agreement enables O2 Germany to pre-install a customised version of Opera Software's mobile browser Opera Mini on selected handsets. O2 will also make the browser available as a wireless download.

The exact value of the agreement was not disclosed, but Opera Software said that the agreement includes license, development, support & maintenance and server-hosting.

Opera Software, headquartered in Oslo, Norway, develops the cross-platform Opera web browser for PCs, mobile phones and other networked devices.
