TRX Inc (Nasdaq:TRXI), a technology company which provides transaction processing and data integration services to the travel industry, yesterday (19 May) launched RESX v8.1, an online booking tool through which corporate travellers can create policy-compliant and on-budget travel reservations via a hosted web interface.
In addition, RESX v8.1 contains features such as, new trip approval triggers based on an administrator defined advance purchase requirements and changes in user interface controls, designed to improve site performance.

Access to US state government fares is available immediately to travel agencies who support RESX and corporate direct clients using the Apollo, Galileo, or Sabre GDS. Shane Hammond, president of RESX Technologies said that now state government users can decide whether to book the lowest fare available or choose a government fare, if there is a difference in price.
