Swedish IT services company Logica Sweden, part of the UK-based international IT services provider LogicaCMG Plc (LSE, Euronext Amsterdam: LOG), said on Wednesday (21 May) that it has landed a three-year outsourcing contract from the municipality of Boden in Sweden.

The contract, valued at SEK25m, covers operation and support of the municipality's IT infrastructure and systems. As part of the arrangements 11 municipal employees will transfer to Logica.

Logica Sweden (formerly WM-data) provides consulting, integration and outsourcing services within IT and business. The company has 5,500 employees in Sweden.
