TELECOMWORLDWIRE-5 May 2008-New line of integration connectors launched by iWave(C)1994-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com
iWave Software, a provider of IT integration and process automation software, announced on Friday (2 May) the first in a new line of integration connectors designed to help customers combine Microsoft System Center Operations Manager with other IT service management (ITSM) applications.
The first connector in the new product line is the iWave System Center Operations Manager 2007 to IT management software company CA's (NYSE:CA) Unicenter Service Desk r11 Connector.
Microsoft System Center Operations Manager is understood to help organizations manage their physical and virtual environments, including desktops, mobile devices and data centers. CA's Unicenter Service Desk r11 is a service desk application used by large enterprises to manage service commitments and help keep end users productive.
According to the company, iWave's new connector enables users to exchange information between their Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 and Unicenter Service Desk environments. For the past eight years, the company has provided bi-directional integration connectors for Microsoft System Center Operations Manager, and its next generation product line adds a graphical user interface, providing customers with a set of tools to design, deploy and manage iWave on their own.
The new product has undergone testing and has been certified by CA to support the integration of Unicenter Service Desk and Microsoft systems Center Operations Manager. It is expected to be generally available in early June, 2008. No pricing details were disclosed.
