Retalix was selected along with computer company IBM, by The Pantry, headquartered in Sanford, North Carolina, to provide a unified operating platform at over 1,600 retail locations. The Pantry needed a consistent, unified technology platform across its stores to enable it to manage fuel brands and foodservice operations and provide easy access to centralised data, ensuring PCI compliance and helping to improve customer service.
Retalix StorePoint runs on IBM SurePOS 500 hardware and incorporates integrated forecourt automation for gas and commercial fuel, Electronic Payment Software (EPS) for support of branded fuels from BP, Chevron, Citgo and ExxonMobil, along with Foodservice, Cash and Inventory Management modules.
Retalix said HQ-Convenience (HQC) is an enterprise solution for managing sites and providing consolidated business intelligence. The two solutions interface with The Pantry's current store back office-to-host accounting solution from Professional Datasolutions (PDI), through the PCATS industry standard.
